ALL EMT’s: working for the US Forest Service: I assume you are all in the same situation I have been in since taking employment with the Forest Service; in not receiving any financial assistance in maintaining your certification. follow this .. You need to look under: Service-wide Issuances- 6720.doc, scroll to the bottom of that link, 6725:Emergency Medical Services directive. Read and enjoy. you can try to take this to your supervisor and gain funding to offset your Continuing Education cost and licensing fees and anything else related, you think you might be able to finagle. (also note, if your region or forest is listed on any of the Regional Issuances, follow their link to the same 6725 directive, some areas have their own supplements. This is by no means a guarantee, but it may potentially give you some ammunition.
