I have some broken ribs, and the bike only has minor damage. From what I can see is a long time of healing ahead of me. Thank you all of you for your prayers.

We are happy it was nothing too serious. Rest up Chuck, and we’ll see you in no time!

I was in a motorcycle accident back in June 2014 where I broke the spinous process in the C7 and sustained multiple soft tissue injuries. I’m not paralyzed from the accident but the recovery is still ongoing, I have had a lot of ups and downs from the event. My advice, increase your protein intake to 1.5-2 g/kg/day and eat a lot of fruits and veggies accompanied with rest. This will ensure a quick and full recovery. I’m a dietetics student at Colorado State University so if you have any nutrition questions please ask.

Thank you everybody for your well wishes and prayers. Just doing the pain management thing one day at a time. Some hours are better than others obviously. I see my Doctor next on Dec 2 where he is talking more X-rays and possible MRI’s.

Good to hear everything is going as planned. The pain can get ugly at times so don’t be too proud to realize you need a hand.
