Information on the Benefit for KRS  (the Plumas Hot Shot who was injured by a falling snag while on a fire in Tennessee at the end of October, 2001) from the event organizer, Joanne Matthews.

---------------------------------------------------------

I have been receiving many phone calls about the Benefit.

1. Who can come?
It is open to everyone, so if you want to pass on the information to others, please do so. The only thing that I and Tyme-to-Bowl needs is the name of people who are coming so that their names can be put in the computer at the bowling ally by Jan. 25. You can e-mail me back or send the info to Tyme to Bowl. People of all ages are welcome to come see the attached flyer for age categories. You will also need to let us know if a person's age if under 18 years old for the trophies and prize categories.

2. Do I have to send the money now or pay when I get there?
All we need to know now is who is coming and their age if under 18 years old. You can pay in cash or check when you come.

3. Do I have to be part of a team?
NO. All trophies and prizes are awarded on individuals scores. The team is just to make it more fun and/or challenging. I will be e-mailing the team results to let you know the standing. We are letting the teams challenge who ever they want.

4. I'm not sure if I'm coming, can I just show-up and bowl?
If you think you are coming, just send me your name. If you don't come, you will not have to pay.

5. Can I win anything if I'm not a bowler?
Yes, the bowling ally has it set up so that if you get 9 out of ten pins, it scores the same as a strike. This makes us non-bowlers more competitive. Also if you have a colored pin in the front and you get 9 pins you will win 5 raffle tickets. We have many raffle items that you can win. The most important thing is that we are supporting Krs and having fun. So please come and join us.

6. Can I choose which time to come?
Yes you can. There is 2 start times 0900 and 1230.

7. What if I'm late?
At this time there is 24 lanes and you have plenty of room to bowl. There are opening for 240 people per time slot.

8. Where is the Bowling Ally?
From hwy 70 take the Oro dam exit and go west (toward walmart). Stay on Oro Dam Blvd until you come to Olive hwy (at the 2nd AM PM station) turn right. Tyme to Bowl is about 5 miles up Olive hwy. If you miss the turn off for Tyme to Bowl, than turn right on Tyme way at the Gold Country Casino Sign 1/4 mile and drive to the parking lot of the casino.

Just send me the names of people who are coming and the time you want to bowl and the age of the person if under 18 years of age. For those of you who want to form a team, give me your team name.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT WE ARE SUPPORTING KRS (one of your own) AND COME AND HAVE A GREAT TIME!!
