2005 International Wildland Fire Safety Summit
The 8th International Wildland Fire Safety Summit as organized by the
International Association of Wildland Fire (IAWF) will take place in Missoula,
Montana, April 26-28, 2005. The theme of the 2005 summit is Human Factors Ten
Years Later since it will represent the 10th anniversary of the Wildland
Firefighters Human Factors Workshop held in Missoula in June 1995 .
The following oral presentations have tentatively been scheduled for delivery
over the course of the three-day summit in 2005:

Certainly one of the highlights of the summit will be the attendance of noted
author John N. Maclean who will speaking at the banquet on the topic of "What
has changed - and what hasn't changed - in the 10 years since the 1994 South
Canyon Fire".
A poster session will also be an integral part of the summit. Sample titles so
