Rebecca’s ribsâ€¨â€¨bbq rub….â€¨â€¨1 cup brown sugarâ€¨1/2 cup garlic powderâ€¨1/2 cup coarse sea saltâ€¨1 tbls dry mustardâ€¨1 tbls creole seasoningâ€¨1 tbls chili powderâ€¨1 tbls ground red pepperâ€¨1 tbls cuminâ€¨1 tbls black pepperâ€¨â€¨vinegar sauce….â€¨â€¨2 cups apple cider vinegarâ€¨1/2 cup white vinegarâ€¨1/4 cup brown sugar or more to taste depending how sweet you want thisâ€¨1 tbls coarse sea saltâ€¨1/2 tbls black pepperâ€¨1/2 tsp paprikaâ€¨â€¨heat in a saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat simmer 15 minsâ€¨â€¨Ribs….â€¨3 slabs babyback ribsâ€¨apple juiceâ€¨â€¨rub meat with bbq rub.. wrap tightly in plastic wrap and chill 8 hoursâ€¨â€¨start grill….for charcoal place coals on ONE side of the grill, for gas light one side. Arrange ribs over unlit side.â€¨â€¨Grill 2 hours covered with grill lid. Add 5 -7 charcoal pieces every 45 mins to 1 hour, keeping temp between 225-250. Add a handful of hickory chips to the charcoal every 20-30 mins. Spray ribs with apple juice when you add the wood chips.â€¨â€¨Grill 2 more hours.. remove the ribs wrap in foil and grill another 2 hours. After last 2 hours remove foil place back on grill baste with vinegar sauce and grill 20 more mins.
