Hey Jess. Welcome back. Good to hear from you. Sounds like you have quite a household! How wonderful!

I just have to say…..I miss my FF so bad!!! I feel like such a wuss, but I can’t help it. I don’t have the support system in Colorado that I did back in Texas, since I’m still kinda new. That’s alright though, what doesn’t kill ya makes you stronger right? Plus, I’m only at my job for another few weeks and after that is over, I will feel better. It is really wearing on me right now. Work, and then working out…two versions of work in one day. I need more FUN. ;) I can’t complain too much though, because my brother was in town last weekend and we had an absolute blast. We spent the weekend on a little mini-road trip and saw some beautiful country. We went to Grand Lake for a friend’s party and then the next day off to a place about 30 miles from Kremmling on the river. It was great! Colorado can’t be beat in the summer.

I did finally hear from the SO yesterday after 7 days of incommunicado. Luckily, or it would’ve been 14, they were moved to another fire, so he was able to briefly call from the airport. It will be nice when he gets transported down south so he can actually get cell reception.

In my household there are no babies yet, just two dogs. It has been somewhat difficult to care for them by myself, because I work 30 minutes from home and one of them has to be on the tie out all day b/c he is a fence jumper. I feel guilty about it and try to make up for it on weekends. I would not have consented to the second dog (we got him in January) if I’d known my SO was leaving to work again for five months. But that’s the way it goes…

The southwest really looks like it’s starting to burn right now huh?! Man, that sit report can be dull as dull for weeks and in one day sure changes drastically. Hope you all have a great weekend!!!!
