Hello all-

I hadn’t checked the site for a while, but low and behold today, there were messages! Things have been slow here in So. Cal, my FF has been around all season. He didn’t even have his first fire until Father’s Day, he’s down in San Bernardino now though, and its HOT and windy. I’m sure things will start picking up as it dries out, there’s going to be lots of fuel out there from all of the rain we had over the winter and spring.

Gavin is ten months, he has been walking for a few weeks now, and the majority of my time is spent following him around, making sure he’s not causing baby mischief. The other part of the time I follow my dogs around and make sure they’re not causing puppy mischief. My FF wanted to get our 1 yr. old lab a little girlfriend, I was not so eager to get another puppy, but I lost that battle and now she’s 4 mo. Trigger is the older one and Gunner is the little Mrs.

I’m taking a trip to Colorado in a few weeks, I’m so excited to go home and see family, friends and old fire pals, I haven’t seen most of them since I moved. I’m looking forward to the nice Rocky Mountain weather too, that’s what I miss the most, I don’t much care for the desert.

That’s about all around here, just regular old mom stuff, until next time…
