That’s a mighty nice offer Nerd. But being that I’m not as qualified for the country, or at least work in the country, as you are…I need to be fairly close to Denver for jobs and school. My SO is going to school for his EMT-Basic and then on to Paramedic school and the latest plan for me is to teach. I’m not sure if that will happen in the fall of ’05 or the New Year. We’ll just have to see on that one. At some point, I guess I should get my tail back in school. The other big attraction to Denver is the new roller derby there. Woo-hoo!! That is such an easy and fun way to meet new people and living in a new place where you no almost no one, that can be invaluable. I am such a social person I can start to freak out if I feel too isolated or just socially deprived. I need friends to go do stuff with. Not that you can’t do that in the sticks. I think it ju st takes longer to get a base of friends. But then again, what the heck do I know? I just have a fear of it in a way but maybe I really would like it after all. I just want to have my cake and eat it too…to be near the mountains with some space, but close enough to the city so I can escape when I need to. I’m still trying to figure it out. Which reminds me…does anyone on here know anything about west Denver? Some good places to live? I have been looking at Wheat Ridge, Evergreen, Conifer areas. Or Morrison. Arvada looks like just another big suburb. But any input on these towns would be really helpful. I would like to live in a rustic little place 20 min. or so outside of Denver and have some room so my dog can really run around.

More and more rain on the Boundary fire and boy is he ready to get out of there. He said they would be….oh shoots, can’t remember the term. Lurking? Something like that. Not staging. But on the line anyway trying to look busy or stay dry or whatever. Sure seems like the west is getting a slow start. Am I right? This time last year it was burning up. What’s the buzz down there about fire season? I guess the NW is really the hot area right now.

I’m always up for a good road trip anyway Nerd. I could always drive down. Say hello to that lizard for me. Your pet woman, not your boyfriend!! ;)
