Oh Taz I am so sorry, I left your name off my little list. So I will go eat worms after I feed the animals. You know we can’t do this without you.

WOW seems like we all came rolling in about the same time, wonder if that is because most of the guys went out about the same time? To all the new people don’t be shy, and if we seem to leave you out of conversations we apologize but some of us have been here since the beginning of family Said and so we probably do sound a little cliquish (sp) anyway…we will learn all the new names soon and then watch out anything can happen. Not that we are opinionated, or anything like that.

I don’t see my response to the newbie mom posted about the personal gear pack list. We could put one together in about five seconds but if you go to the archives some where in there are some really good lists of items they will need. I remember my voyage to Wal-Mart with list in hand. I was there about 3 hours and was almost in tears because I was soooooo tired and was so afraid I was going to send my baby boy out without EVERYTHING he needed. Now, most of you know my whole family are FF. Couple of daughters and four sons right now plus their dad so I’ve been doing this a LOOOONG time, but to send my baby out was way too traumatic for me. Even after all the years of helping put packs together, I bought enough stuff to outfit a herd of Hotshots. Most important things are sunflower seeds and SOCKS, very expensive socks……….

And again this year everyone came here to do their packs and get all the gear out of the fifth wheel . It serves as FF storage…….so we had a cookout and they celebrated real hard. Now everyone is out to their respective stations etc so It’s just me and the animals and my computer.

Ab: where can they find the lists easily. sammi

There’s one list on the FAQ page, link in the header buttons.
