To the Ab account from Sammie, more recently than the one below saying all are well:
Chalk Wildland Fire http://165.221.39.44/incident/1551/ Nine injuries were reported during the last operational period. They were due to three unrelated vehicle accidents. All injuries were reported as minor with one possible broken nose. All personnel were evaluated at a local hospital and have been released. Ab Note: Communications about this accident came in last night. It's good to get these "heads ups" so our mods can watch out for inappropriate hotlist posts made before families are notified and so people can be looking for formal news releases that have real info in them. To the Ab account last night: not for posting ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All firefighters have been treated and released. Update #3 (First 2 emails not posted) |

All personnel involved in the engine rollover on the BDF Engine last evening have been treated and released from the hospital. All CAL FIRE crews have been released from the incident. CAL FIRE engines are slated for release on or before October 7th. Ab Note: I added the bold. Thanks for the information behind the scenes on the BDF engine rollover. We're glad all are well. We're also glad their families did not get anxiety producing snippits of information here. They do read the hotlist and are members of our extended fire family here. |
