Watching behind the scenes I’ve seen Forest Supervisors, with little regard to hiring the most qualified employees to hire women. I have nothing against the hiring of woman or minorities but you CAN NOT bypass qualified candidates (category 1) and go all the way to (category 3) poorly qualified people just to fill your hiring quota. If you have applied for fire jobs in California, and didn’t receive the job you wanted take it to ABQ! Because some people should get their ASSESS handed to them legally. (Looking at you Lassen, Modoc, Los Padre, Tahoe National Forest!) If you’re a white male. Or even just a male fight it all the WAY and make them PROVE why you weren’t hired. This is for all of you well qualified applicants.
