Triple Fudge Brownies

Submitted by FireWife on 11/15/03.

1 pkg 3-4 oz instant chocolate pudding
1 pkg chocolate cake mix (I use devils food cake)
1 pkg chocolate chips (2 cups)

Prepare pudding according to directions on box with 1/4c less milk.
Whisk in cake mix.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour into a greased baking pan.

Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!!

I like to make these whenever we have to go to a dinner or whatever!! Everyone inhales them. I love them and make them whenever I need a pick me up!!

Ab note: We tried this in a 12 inch cast iron dutch oven on a campfire with fairly good results. Get a good hardwood fire going and let it go to coals. Put the dutch oven with brownies inside on the coals and heap more coals over it. The temp may be higher than 350 degrees, so check brownies after 20-25 minutes and gauge the need for more cooking time from there. We've also used a 11 inch cast iron deep frying pan with lid.
