Bear Cub on the Beaver Fire

Apparently there is a bear cub on the Beaver Fire outside of Yreka, CA that is in need of rescue. Supposedly, they announced on Command imploring people not to use social media to publicize the cub, in case they need to euthanize it.  If anyone has connections to a wildlife rescue organization, please see what you can do.

This is a photo of Paul Gleason, squad boss on Dalton Hotshots, taken by firefighter Miles Wilson during the 1965 Monkey Fire in San Bernardino National Forest. Wilson reports that Gleason "roped us in," using rock climbing rope to tie the crew to trees on the steep fire line, where they slept overnight.
